Received a promotion to Senior Software Engineer after 1 year of working at PHIN. I am now leading the engineering team.

• Lead engineering initiatives across architecture, infrastructure, and delivery, with ownership of all CI/CD pipelines (roughly 30), authentication systems, and key developer-facing APIs.
• Trusted to drive cross-functional projects and align technical decisions with business goals.
• Designed and built a scalable architecture for new admin tools, securing cross-team buy-in despite technical gaps.
• Lead architectural planning decisions, valuing other developer’s input and the needs of the business.
• Responsible for overhauling our CI/CD pipelines by leveraging IaC in Azure and Azure DevOps, enabling us to automatically build and teardown environments as needed for DEV, QA and UAT.
• Responsible for maintaining our authentication solution.
• Lead a variety of project implementations in order to fulfill our order with the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
• Responsible for an outbound API to be used by external developers to access PHIN’s data.
• Led mentorship initiatives for junior developers, with hands-on support and tailored feedback to enhance coding standards, problem-solving abilities, and independent work confidence within the team.
• Act as the team’s scrum master, leading scrum ceremonies and keeping track of the team’s progress.

Full Stack Software Engineer

Working on an agile SCRUM team in a healthtech company to overhaul all existing products. Last year I received the company’s Excellence Award for my contribution.

• I was the primary contributor to a major, 1.5 year rebuild, for a portal used by 600 private hospitals and 15,000+ doctors.
• Built dozens of pages with complex business logic to view/edit/submit data, alongside extended validation rules to ensure the data submitted will comply with an order from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA).
• Worked alongside a senior developer on a new NodeJS/Fastify API, replacing legacy SQL Stored Procedures.
• Refactored the company’s website to support new features and improve SEO and maintained legacy products.

Clear Channel International

Joined the tech Europe division, working with 30+ other developers on a new platform to integrate all 260 000 ad panels that belong to Clear Channel across Europe.

• Contributed to the Programmatic product, tasked with identifying last minute gaps in ad schedules, then finding within seconds a suitable ad from different vendors.
• Developed a micro-service API integrated into the broader product framework, leveraging Apache Kafka for real-time event handling across 260,000 ad panels.
• I took part in architectural planning meetings, helping the team find the best solution for the business.
• Ensured high test coverage and different ways of creating and maintaining documentation.

Junior Software Engineer

Splyt

Splyt was the super-app enabler, I was working on the tooling and enablement team, as well as client facing projects.

• Lead a major update of a key customer support tool, from planning through testing, all the way to delivery.
• I was trusted with full access to the PROD infrastructure of the company's website, enabling me to manage most updates and oversee all releases.
• Collaborated on developing a NodeJS/Koa API integrated with ElasticSearch and a third-party API for querying holiday experiences, supported by a self-managed MongoDB instance for user data storage.
• Developed numerous apps, services, and tools for different teams to streamline processes and enhance productivity in alignment with UI team designs.
• Refactored the history service to maintain user action logs according to RBAC permissions, enhancing data tracking and security.
• Created an internal component library to expedite the development of internal tools while ensuring consistency in the company's visual identity.
